I am an Oklahoma City native trained at the University of Oklahoma (BOOOMER!) with my Bachelors of Science in Nursing and minor in psychology. I have been married to my pastor man husband for almost 20 years this August and we have 3 kiddos. I love nature, people, music, art, animals, learning Spanish, health, pediatric nursing, Bible studies, and all things coffee and Jesus. My love for photography started early in high school and really bloomed during a hard season of life. In some ways you can say photography saved me (along with Jesus and family/friends) during my struggles with infertility/loss and just beginning a new live in a new state. Photography is incredibly therapeutic to me and a true joy in my life.

I am drawn to natural light, seeking to unveil the genuine and authentic glow inherent in every moment. I specialize in crafting images that radiate warmth, authenticity, and capturing all the fun/crazy of this season of life.

Unearthing Emotions Beneath the Surface

I love a good story. I love hearing and understanding the stories of those around me. "Unearthed Photography" is a testament to my approach as a story teller—delving beneath the surface to reveal the raw and genuine emotions that lie within. It's capturing the nuanced expressions, the subtle glows, and the moments that resonate long after they fade from view. My goal and passion within portraiture photography is to capture your story so you can share this season of your story with others. Our stories connect us and inspire us.

Giving Back: A Portion for Families in Need

Beyond capturing family moments, I believe in making a positive impact. I am excited about the Every Family initiative. A portion of my proceeds goes towards providing photo sessions, prints, and frames for families in need. (click HERE for more info) It's my way of giving back and ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to preserve their cherished moments.  Right now I have the honor of capturing families at the Arlington Life Shelter on a regular basis.  This feels like some of my greatest work and I am so very excited about it.

Staying Inspired and Growing

I stay inspired by immersing myself in nature and dedicating time to personal growth through worship, music, painting, reading, and cherished moments with family and friends. Creatively, I draw inspiration from those who take bold risks.  Witnessing others explore new art forms or skills fuels my desire to continually push my creative boundaries, ensuring that I am always growing and evolving as a photographer.
